This is a brand new CD of 13 tunes with old and new material. HF Ritchie is on lead and harmony vocal and is backed by many wonderful Texas musicians on this CD. Brady Bowen is heard on fiddle and viola and Albert Talley plays some really enjoyable steel guitar. Ronnie Dale Shultz plays lead guitar, bass, trumpet, rhythm guitar, mandolin and harmony vocals. Dennis Ritchie is the drummer and is the vocalist on Merle Haggard's Sing Me Back Home. Michael Poe plays acoustic guitar, Johnny Case plays piano and Karen Wilson joins HF on vocal on Johnny Bond's classic Jim, Johnny and Jonas. Gil Prather joins HF for vocal on Don't Be Ashamed of Your Age.

The album opens with the title tune, a country oriented song about a classic oil well written by HF, Santa Rita Number One. Other country tunes heard are Merle Haggard's This Loneliness is Eating Me Alive, HF's own Little Joe the Roughneck and Little Paperboy. The blues items are HF's Somewhere, Sometime, Someway, Bad Luck and Troubles and the old favorite, St. James Infirmary. Also included are two religious tunes, It'll Be Better in the Morning and Penny from Heaven. The remaining tune is borrowed from Fats Waller, Ain't Misbehaving.
